Christmas in Canton--"CIty of Lights"

We went to Canton, the "City of Lights," with our good friends the Russells.  We had fun (and warmed up) by looking through the Canton Animation Museums.  The festivities in Canton all take place around the Historic Courthouse Square, decorated with over 200,000 glittering lights. Canton’s Square is honored as a National Register Landmark.  The festival received honorable mention from the Arts & Entertainment Network's 2003 contest, "Best Small Town Christmas Spirit."  Pacee and I also had fun riding on the antique car carousel. 
Canton is also home to the filming of "A Time to Kill," "My Dog Skip,"  and "O Brother Where Art Thou."

Confluence Trail

We went to Roseville, Ca to interview for a job and see our friends, the Rosengreens.  We went on a fun hike one day. 

Milo gets a haircut

Jess likes his hair short. Personally I like it a bit longer, he looks more cuddly. He is still cute as can be though!

New Car!! :)

In August Jess was hit by a lady that ran a stop sign. Luckily no one was hurt but it did total the Jeep. We figured since we are living in Telluride for the month of January we may need a car that can handle all the snow!

Lake Powell Tri

We went to Lake Powell to participate in the Powell3. Jess and Mike did the full Tri and Bequi and I did the relay. We skipped the swim and Bequi did the bike and I ran. It was a lot of fun.

For Labor day we went to the Walters and had a cookout, went swimming and played horseshoes. Milo loves to jump from the side onto our rafts, but doesn't like swimming on his own very much! ha!
